“Rape, ladies and gentlemen, is not today what rape was. Rape, when I was learning about these things, was the violation of a chaste woman, against her will, by some party not her spouse. Today it’s simply, ‘Let’s don’t go forward with this act.’”
there ya have it, folks. rape just isn’t the big ol’ offense it used to be. hell when it was virgins or chaste married women, it was “destruction of property” or “damage of goods”. far far more serious than today’s society when it could only be considered “theft of services“ should you have the audacity to have actually had sex prior to your attack. for shame! you should have kept your chastity belt locked a little longer!
so, i vote that we send an email or two to Tennessee Senator Doug Henry, Jr. let’s tell him just how much we appreciate him standing up and telling we women just how we should feel about rape. thank him for alerting us to the fact that women these days are just a bunch of dirty whores and deserve what we get!
we might also want to remind him that one in four women that he knows will or has been victims of sexual assault, and i am sure that they appreciate his sentiments. that doesn’t even include that native american women are three times as likely to be sexually assaulted, so i guess they are extra big super duper whores!
