LOL
I got a mommy story to share…
Was cooking dinner Monday night and was very very cranky (had been in & out of labor for most of a week at this point). Daughter said “I’m hungry mama!” to which I (snarled) replied, “It’ll be ready in 2 seconds!” About a minute later, she pipes up “It’s 2 seconds mama!”
DH almost fell off the couch he was laughing so hard. I, on the other hand, have never come closer to throwing something at my amazing kid…but ended up joining DH in laughter to keep from crying
i love hearing other people’s “almost losing it” stories. as i learned in a parenting workshop i went to recently at the Bug’s school we all have those moments, and in fact, it does not make us bad parents. apparently, you and i are pretty much normal.
only someone who has never had to live w/ a 3-5 y/o on a permanent basis would have the nerve to criticize it.
thanks for sharing, K8, and congrats on the new bundle!
