Election Day Prep…
Since The Kid is learning about the Presidents in school, I promised her that she could accompany me on election day.
Any tips from parents who already do this as to how I make this more fun and educational (even w/ my obvious political slant) for her?

Debate Open Thread
I am too tired for a link round up today, b/c I forgot it was Thursday b/f I went to the gym for my walk.
Discuss the debate. I thought Biden rocked it (mostly, I will talk about that more later).

With regard to women, who I think do make such an important constituency in this upcoming election, McCain has a zero record on voting against women’s privacy and reproductive health. Senator Obama has a 100 percent voting record for women’s privacy and reproductive health. And the only reason that McCain has a zero is organizations like Planned Parenthood couldn’t find a lower number. And a woman voting for McCain and Palin is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders.

While I am not outright endorsing any specific candidate right now (still painted unconvinced), I am a bit of a fan of this site which helps you register to vote, see if you are already registered, and helps you w/ a variety of other questions about being registered to vote.
Unless you are military and needing to vote absentee, from overseas or otherwise, you will need a site similar to this.
Now go get registered. I still don’t know what I am going to do w/ it, but I have taken the first step.
(I finally changed that pesky party affiliation detail.)
I need to see more of THIS. Now that is a clear stance I am wanting to see. If we could just get you to take this kind of stance on Women’s issues…I need more than “some control” if you want my vote.
Paint me not yet convinced.
